It’s seems that Mexico it’s on a social and time loop, stuck in repeat. 44 years have passed us through us and people seemed to forgot what happened in the in betweens, no wonder why my generation had to step out to the streets again.
Meanwhile the world will put it’s eye on the Olympic opening ceremony, right now, there is people protesting outside the installations of the largest broadcasting channel and media corporation in Latin America, Televisa.
We have been asking for the democratization of the media in this country, cause as far as the story this corporation is trying to sell us, a man called Enrique Peña Nieto is becoming Mexico’s next president.
But the story that people lived on the streets is way to far from the one that this media is telling, even the reality they say we live in. So then people is angry, people is on the streets, we are protesting for something better, for being respect and also for the respect of our rights.
As far as this movement has kept on going, minimum accidents or incidents has taken place, yeah people has been harmed, but not in the way 44 years ago were treated.
It’s seems Mexico it’s not the only one stuck in this time loop, cause as far as i read somewhere in the same year France, the Czech Republic, were also having their own movements, and had their repression quote, all beautifully marked by the grace and peace of some olympic games about to happened.
October the 2nd, will never be forgotten. Hope that what’s happening here and now, doesn’t end, that bad.
